Newborn Photography Stafford Va

I first met Allison and John in 2011 when they were newly engaged and John was stationed at Quantico for training. We met up in Georgetown and got to know each other as we walked the streets taking their engagement photos! For the longest time people would mention their photos to me as the Marine blues couple because John wore his blues for part of the session. John was also the second groom I told to pick his soon to be bride up and carry her in a fireman’s carry for a few fun shots and from there on I got asked at every session for at least the next year to do that pose! I had no idea it would take off like that, lol!

Once they were married Allison and John were stationed in Japan and I got to keep up with their adventures from afar through Facebook. Even though I’m a military wife myself I’ve never had to move to another continent so I was just blown away by how Allison established a new life in a foreign land. She found a new family and a passion with her CrossFit team and it sounds silly but I was so proud of her! She has been my example story for all my military brides since of how to be a military wife. How to roll with the punches, the moves, the deployments and not lose yourself.

When I got the message from her that they were moving back to the Stafford area I was so excited to see them again. They were now a family of 3 with a little girl and I knew they were just the best parents! I was so happy to capture a family session for them at that time which I have not blogged because I’m so far behind on that ????‍♀️! That brings us up to this year when I believe Allison left a cryptic comment on one of my newborn posts that led me to believe she was pregnant again! Or my own pregnancy brain could have completely fabricated that, I’m not sure at this point, lol!

Getting to photograph another chapter in this couple’s life is the greatest blessing! Allison has great taste when it comes to photography and for her to trust me again and again is truly an honor.
