I always get asked what happens if the baby comes early? No worries I tell them, I only take on a limited number of sessions a month so I have room to adjust their date if they get an early surprise like Megan and Chris did.
Having had an early surprise myself this year with our daughter coming 4 weeks early I know how stressful it is trying to suddenly get everything ready when you thought you still had weeks to go! I found getting that month of extra snuggles helped relieve the stress.

Megan and Chris were super sweet and their nursery was adorable which you know I’m a sucker for! I loved that were were able to include their super sweet pup who has his own Instagram account!!! Check out @Teddyvangrams for adorable Goldendoodle photos. I’ve had quite a few clients with Goldendoodles and I have to say they are winning me over. The shedding thing is a big plus considering our Golden Retriever Sam leaves behind extra dogs worth of fur every week!
It’s always fun including pups in my newborn sessions. Depending on the age and temperment of the dog we might put the baby near them with mom and dad right outside of my frame. Or if they are just too excited we incorporate them in other ways. I love the simple images of them just hanging out in the nursery at mom or dad’s feet!
