Today I thought we’d chat about 3 photo products to have in your home to display your gorgeous newborn photos! What I love about these products is they work with so many décor styles. You can choose your favorite or display all 3!
Framed Prints
This is a classic for a reason, you can pick a frame style that coordinates with your home décor so easily. You can group several framed prints together for a beautiful wall gallery or keep them separate as statement pieces. Small frames like 8×10 or 5×7 can be displayed on shelves and tables.
I recommend if you go with 11×14 that you pair two of them together to go on a wall for better visual impact. For a single image on the wall I’d go no smaller than 16×20. It might sound huge but once you hang it up you’ll realize it’s not as big as you thought! Get more ideas on how to display your photos on my Gallery Wall Inspiration Pinterest board!
If you’d prefer to see what an image would look like at different sizes without putting any holes in your wall I can create a digital mockup for you. Just send me a photo of the wall in question with a piece of printer paper taped to it. I can design single image displays or show you how a wall gallery would look!
Lay Flat Album
A classic just like your wedding album and perfect to display on a coffee table or bookcase. I have baby albums for each of my kids and they sit in decorative table top easels on our bookshelves as part of the décor of the room. The kids can grab them whenever they want and look at the photos which they love to do.
These lay flat albums are very durable with thick pages and linen or leather cover options depending on which style you choose. We can even customize the cover with a photo or imprint a custom message like your baby’s name and birthdate.
Print Boxes
These are a great way to have small loose prints or larger matted fine art prints ready for quick display. Whenever my kids come to me for some school project and need a photo of them as a baby I immediately walk over to the print box for that session and grab a print. It makes my life so easy!!
I offer two types of print boxes, the first is a 4×6 or 5×7 size box filled with loose prints. Typically we can fit your entire session in the box if you’d like. The boxes themselves come in several linen fabric shades or you can choose a glass box. We can add a custom message or design to the top also! These print boxes are a great complement to your digital files. Plus if you have small frames around the house you can easily swap out the photos and rotate your favorites on display!
The second type of print box I offer is a larger 8×10 box with matted 5×7 prints. This box comes in several linen fabrics and can also have a message or custom design added to the top. You get to choose your favorite 10 photos to include in the box. I recommend displaying them with a tabletop easel on a table or bookcase. You could also easily frame these in an 8×10 frame and swap out the photos whenever you want.
