When it comes to baby boy nurseries I see a lot of nautical inspiration which of course I love but it was so refreshing to see this adorable Golf Inspired Nursery! Everything from the vintage posters to the custom sign over the crib just tied this whole theme together. I especially loved the golf ball lamp!

What inspired your nursery design?
My husband’s love of golf.
Did you use an interior designer to help create your nursery?
My mother-in-law has an interior decorating company, Bella M Interiors, based in Charlotte, NC, and was a great sounding board to help bring my vision to life.
Did you have a particular budget in mind for your Golf Inspired Nursery?
No.
On which items did you splurge vs. save?
Because it’s a smaller room with less furniture most of it was a “splurge” from Pottery Barn Kids.
Did you experience any challenges with your nursery design?
It’s a smaller room, so getting the right size furniture to fit was important but also challenging.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your Golf Inspired Nursery?
My favorite part is the putter above the closet. My husband’s grandfather gave it to my husband shortly before he passed and it is very special to my husband. Every time we see it, it feels like he is with us and watching over my son.
Any final tips or advice?
Details matter. The big stuff is easy, finding the little details is the hard part but makes all the difference.
