When we first came down to Florida from Virginia we knew we wanted to stay near the beach! But we had no idea which beaches were good and which were super crowded. We randomly chose an Airbnb in Dania Beach because we loved the house and it had a pool! Little did I know that Dania Beach was the perfect location for maternity sessions!
The first evening I had a Dania Beach maternity session I was in love! The natural greenery, the sea grasses and of course the waves gave me several backdrops for beautiful maternity photos. I love making sure my clients have great variety in their galleries.
My favorite question as I lay out the session game plan is “Are we getting in the water?! I’ve yet to meet a SoFlo girl that isn’t up for it but I always like to ask. I’m thankful Florida beaches are a bit calmer that what I was used to in Nags Head! But dad and I still make sure that mom is on solid footing when in the water :).
This Dania Beach maternity session with Vivi and Francisco was an instant favorite of mine! They were so sweet and easy to work with. They told me they were awkward in front of the camera and didn’t know how to act. Not even halfway into their session I told them they were liars because they were so natural in front of the camera it didn’t actually feel like work to me lol! There is a magic about a couple expecting their first baby that I just love! They are so smitten with each other and excited about their future!
