So I have a 9 year old brother and sometimes it is really weird! I was 19 when he was born and I moved out of the house about a year later. So I am always surprised when my Mom calls me and says “Your brother misses you”. My first thought is, he is 9 why the heck does he want to hang out with me. To him I should be old and boring 🙂 But apparently I am fun and cool and I need to be a better sister. So I showed up at my parents house on Friday to surprise him and take him for the night, I came with the bribe of pizza, ice cream, cookies and WALL*E!!!! All this to spend time with him and butter him up enough to let me take some nice photos of him 🙂 We also finally cracked open my Zelda game and started to play (of course now that I’ve opened it I want to play it more but I let him borrow it). So after all these fun and games and when he was chock full of cookies we went over to Occoquan for me to take photos of him. He was such a trooper and surprisingly cooperative for his photos. I had him help me look for interesting backgrounds and textures and below is what we came up with!
- He looks like a catalog model here, too cool for everyone around him 🙂
- My husband says I make this face too and everytime I make it he says I look like my brother!
- He wasn’t really happy about this shot, I had him sit on the steps in front of a townhouse that was vacant but he didn’t believe me that no one was going to come out and yell at us.
- I love this look, he isn’t a big smiler unless it is totally fake so this smirk is pretty normal.
- And this would be the are we done yet look!

Hi Melissa! Your site and blog look great! You’re off to a wonderful start on your business. 🙂 I’m not feeling the greatest so I wasn’t able to make the meetup tonight, but it was great meeting you at the last one. Take care!
