Love It!
1. Dreaming Dogs! I love to watch my girls sleep. I feel weird but they look so cute and when they are dreaming they let out these little noises! Soft barks and twitching paws and my favorite wagging tails! I wonder what they are dreaming about and I hope I’m in their dreams playing with them. Any bad mood can be instantly lifted by sweet puppy dreams!
2. Roomba! So with the above mentioned sleeping puppies dog hair is a constant battle in our house and I’m usually on the losing end. So we thought we’d try to enlist a new soldier in this war on dog fur! Enter our new recruit that needs a name, I’m thinking it needs to start with an R so it can be RXXX the roomba. Maybe Ricardo? I like Ricardo because it is sexy! The one phenomenon we did not count on with our roomba is it’s ability to completely distract David and I. We now will walk into a room just to find the other one staring in wonder as Ricardo does his work! (Hmm maybe Ricardo won’t work. I need suggestions!) I have no idea why it is so fascinating but it is. Time will tell if he can keep up with all of Sadie Mae’s fur, that is a tough job but I think he is up for the task!
3. WPPI!!! This gets lots of exclamation points because I’m really excited! I’ve heard about WPPI’s annual convention in Vegas for years but have not been able to attend for various reasons. One being that I didn’t want to go alone. Conventions are huge, there are thousands of people that all seem to know each other but they have no idea who you are. If you aren’t outgoing you will find yourself smashed against the wall alone. So I’m excited this year because I get to share the experience of WPPI with 3 awesome photographers that I’ve admired and all work in Virginia with one recently transported to Texas but she can still be a Virginia girl too! We are all in similar places with our business but I know there is a ton I can learn from these girls. I think it will be so much fun to share this with them and learn along side them and from them! I love conventions for the excitement and inspiration I leave with, they are a great opening to wedding season because I’m all fired up to improve myself and my business. Plus I’ve never been to Vegas! Woohoo!!!
Hate It!
1. Jury Duty! Okay so while you are reading this I might be sitting in a courtroom performing my civic duty. Or I might be in the office because they decide I’m a sucky juror. I’m pretty sure I’m the perfect juror because I don’t read the newspaper very often unless it is a happy story and I’m not overly negative. I’m pretty blah and boring and probably the exact stereotype they want. I guess we shall see. I was kind of excited to get my summons but then it caused me to have to cancel on an event for my favorite charity so now it is evil!!!
