I wouldn’t usually give myself the title of Charleston SC senior photographer but I could not say no to my niece!
When I got my first professional digital camera back in 2008 I didn’t have kids but I did have my niece Cara and she was more than willing to model for me in exchange for playground time! If you want to take a trip way back in time you can see some of my very first “professional” photos of her here! Please be sure to come back here and appreciate how much I have grown in my photography craft over the years lol! Also look at the beautiful young woman she has become! I still see her as the little 2 year old I met when I first started dating David, now I have my own 2 year old little girl and she LOVES her cousin Cara!
I was so honored that she asked me to do her senior photos and of course there was no better location than her hometown of Charleston SC. I love visiting the downtown area whenever we visit my in-laws so this was a great excuse. My sister in law came with us for moral support, posing assistance and makeup/hair adjustments! We had such a fun time just wandering around and grabbing photos with the cutest backdrops. It can be hard to pose just one person but Cara made it super easy and we all had a blast!
I’m so proud to see her heading to nursing school this year, she is going to do an amazing job!
