No wedding on the blog today instead I bring you photos of me! Oh and my hubby :).
David and I have not had nice photos taken of the two of us since our wedding day over 3 years ago! Bad photographer bad. We planned to do them last year before he deployed but it was just too much to try to pretend to be happy when we really weren’t. Then we decided to wait till he came home so we wouldn’t have to pretend and then we wanted to wait till we got the new boat home. During this waiting period I contacted one of my favorite photographers Katelyn James to see if she was available and we lucked out that she was! She dealt with our multiple reschedules and we got onto her last available day on her calendar this year! I was over the moon excited because I blog stalk her all the time and I’m taking a workshop from her tomorrow!!! YAY HAPPY DANCE!!!
Back to the photos. I want everyone to know that I practice what I preach and I had my hair done and the fabulous Kristen from GoGo Gorgeous did an awesome job on my makeup! I picked out a new outfit for myself and figured out what David would actually wear for me ;). The girls even got new collars because I’m that kind of mom :). Being on the other side of the camera helped me so much with being in my clients shoes and I learned a ton from Katelyn in our short session. I hope that it will help make me a better photographer for my clients! So without further ado here are photos of my hubby and I plus our furry girls!
