Happy Birthday Maxie!! I can’t believe my baby is 10 today! I can still remember the first moment I held her. She has been my practice kid for the last 10 years and she has really been kicking it in overdrive this year. Having an older dog is like having a puppy or a baby but she is teaching me more patience then I ever thought possible. Even though it has been a crazy year my girl still has a lot of spunk in her! She loves hanging out at the office with me and going to the boat is still her favorite activity! We bought a bigger boat last year so we could take more trips with her and Sadie. They love to walk all the way around the boat now on the deck. In fact Maxie can sometimes be found snoozing with her legs dangling overboard while we are under sail. Of course she is wearing her life jacket and those were very light sailing days! She even learned how to climb the ladder out of the cabin.
Today I will be stopping by Dog Krazy to pick up a birthday treat for her and Sadie in celebration! 10 years!! I can’t believe my baby is 10 years old!!! Enjoy some pics from this past year of my sweet girl!

After I did an engagement session with a couple whose dog could hi five David immediately set out to teach the girls! Maxie likes to give Daddy kisses as a thank you!
She is seriously adorable when she does this, I haven’t quite gotten the straight on angle yet but I’ll get there!
