I often get the question, “when should I book newborn photos?” from expecting moms. Understandably, when that test says positive, your to-do list gets long, fast. I find that it’s best to book newborn portraits at the beginning of your second trimester. Most moms are beginning to feel better and get more energy and it’s the perfect time to secure your photo shoot and ensures availability.

Booking at the beginning of the second trimester also allows for us to plan for your maternity portraits! I offer a VIP membership that is wonderful for documenting your baby’s first year of life. The VIP membership gives families the flexibility of booking 2-4 sessions over 18 months, with one membership fee. Perfect for maternity portraits, newborn photos at home, a six month milestone session, and ending with a family and cake smash photo shoot. After each session, we will go through your gallery and select your digital files + artwork for your home.
