Living in South Florida, we’re afforded some of the most beautiful beaches, but we also boast stunning botanical gardens! Going to one of the many garden’s the area has to offer is a great alternative to a sunset beach maternity photo shoot.
Some great options to consider when considering maternity portraits in Botanical Gardens are:
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens – This location is a DREAM that I cannot wait to visit with a beautiful couple! They offer European-inspired gardens, reminiscent of gardens created in the seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Italy and France. Sign me UP!
Flamingo Gardens – Another location I truly cannot wait to visit & take my own kids! This lush, tropical garden offers jungle scenes to a manicured live oak hammock, making for some stunning backdrops. Just imagine relaxing in the hammock with your partner, loving on your bump. What lovely images will come from there!
Secret Gardens Miami – Provides 6 acres of lush vegetation, six waterfalls, and a koi-filled pond with swans, along with various stone arches and bridges to create unique, magical photo shoots. Talk about another dream botanical gardens location!
All three locations require photographers to purchase a day-pass. Additional fees will apply, but I truly believe you can’t go wrong with any of these stunning locations.
