Today’s post is for a couple that is near and dear to my heart! Many of you have met my “adorable assistant” Rebecca at the bridal shows, she sweetly agreed to help me with one show having no idea I’d drag her to 3 more. What can I say I realized very quickly that I was going to need help and she was perfect for the job! One thing that bonds Rebecca and I together besides owning many of the same clothes is our sense of humor. The text messages between the two of us would make your jaw drop, haha ;). It’s nice to have that one person that you can say anything to and they don’t judge!
During David’s last deployment Rebecca was there to get me through it. Movie dates that still include sliders and fries and the occasional cupcake from Sweet Reasons. Sometimes followed by cider at the Pub where I was blessed to sleep in the next day but she still had to be up at 5am. Brave girl!!! So I noticed during those movie dates that she started talking about this guy Mike she had met. As time progressed things got more serious and I finally got my opportunity to meet him when I took photos of them before the Navy ball last year. I noticed right off the bat that Rebecca glows around Mike, her smile is infectious and she is head over heels! It makes me so happy to see that!!!
When she texted me around Christmas to say Mike had just proposed in Central Park (the New York one for you Fredericksburg peeps) I was over the moon! All that bridal show experience I put her through had her ready to plan her own wedding. Rebecca is a huge Disney fan and last year when Amanda and Robbie were married I lucked out that she and her mom were staying down there that week. So I got to crash with my best bud and take her as my date to the wedding! Inspired by Amanda’s Disney fairy tale Rebecca and Mike will be tying the knot this October at the most magical place on earth!! I”m super excited for her Snow White themed wedding and while I can’t be there in person I will be anxiously awaiting photos that day!!! Depending on when this baby shows up I might leave it with David for a couple days and hop on a plane so I don’t miss out! I’m sure David and the baby can use some bonding time 😉 haha!!
Rebecca was smart enough to enlist some of my favorite vendors for her and Mike’s engagement session! GoGo Gorgeous did a fab job with her makeup and Ashley and Cathy from C & A Events helped her style the session!
