It’s day 4 and today I’m giving away a 2 hour mentoring session! This prize is for anyone, from the beginner who just wants to take better photos of their kids to those that are in the business of photography. I love to talk about photography and even more I like to talk business. For the winner of this session we will map out what you would like to learn so we have a plan going in. You will have some pre-session homework to gather your questions for me. Typically we spend the first hour on q&a and the second hour on hands on demonstrations. These sessions are tailored to you and what you want to learn.
When I first started my business I spent hours and hours searching google for answers to my questions. I’d find one answer just to have 10 new questions. I made mistakes along the way and wandered aimlessly at times. If I can answer a few of those questions and save you a mistake along the way I’m happy to help! If you just want to learn how to take better photos we can talk about how to use your camera, how to look for good light and I can tell you why the photos of your kids are usually blurry ;).
Don’t forget to enter the rest of this weeks giveaways day 1, day 2, day 3. Plus come back tomorrow for the big prize a free session for one lucky couple!

I’d love to be mentored on shooting!
I would love to be mentored one on one!!!! I have a dslr I need to put to better use! 🙂
Oh I would love this. I originally learned photography on a good ole 35mm and my grandpa was a professional photographer. I learned how to process and develop my own film. All that good stuff.
Yet I’ve found now with my DSRL I find myself floundering on the manual settings.
ooh. i’ll never forget the mentoring session i did with melissa jill. now we are great friends, just from that skype mentoring session. 🙂 i’m sure i could learn even more from a local gal!!!
I have had my DSLR for about 2 years and have gotten to the point that I just did my first photo shoot and now and dying to learn more! Thank you for this opportunity!
