“She is very helpful. She was happy to help me make a timeline for the day of the wedding, and was a great resource as I was planning, since she has been involved in so many weddings.”

Virginia Wedding Venues
The ring has been bought, a question has been asked and the planning has begun. Congrats you are getting married! Now it’s time to pick some dates and start looking at Virginia wedding venues. You probably aren’t sure where to begin so hopefully this will help you out some. I’ve put together a list of 10 amazing wedding venues in Virginia and linked to real weddings I’ve photographed there.
This is a great way to view an entire wedding at these venues to see if it will really fit your needs. You can see areas where the bride and groom get ready, of course ceremony locations and great spots for portraits but how about where your guests will enjoy cocktail hour and view how other brides have decorated the reception space. When viewing venue websites it is hard to get a feel for an entire wedding when you are just seeing a few great images from one or two weddings.
I find it is so much more helpful for my couples when they can see an entire wedding to really see if the venue works with their vision for their wedding. We have everything from plantation homes to vineyards to barns in this round up! Whether you are having a rustic wedding or going for more of an elegant glam feel I bet one of these venues will be the perfect fit for you.
