I had a wedding that day and desperately needed a haircut so while sitting in the chair at Winning Image Salon and talking to the stylist Megan we started chatting about weddings. All about the different aspects of weddings and Megan suddenly got very excited and told me about a new florist in town! It was a friend of hers and I had to go check her out! I was looking for other wedding vendors to network with so I stopped by right after my haircut to meet Amanda Apple the owner of Anthomanic Florals in Stafford, Virginia. She is located right off Onville Rd and has the cutest florist shop I’ve ever seen! I came in and introduced myself and we traded business cards and chatted for a few minutes and she was really sweet. We found each other on Facebook and have been collaborating on a couple projects that I’m really excited about. A couple weeks ago I stopped by the shop to photograph some of Amanda’s work for a wedding the next day. If you check out Amanda’s Facebook page you will see that she does beautiful work and her bouquets remind me of ones I have seen in Martha Stewart Weddings. If you are getting married definitely check her out and keep an eye on the blog this fall where she will be doing some guest posting about Wedding Florals! Also we are throwing a fundraiser for the Stafford SPCA on October 30th at her shop! There will be an upcoming blog post with more information but it will be Saturday, October 30th and we are having a Pet Photo Booth!! So come on by and bring your pet in costume to help us with our Howl-o-ween fundraiser!!!
