Last year I donated a session and a book to the Fredericksburg Academy for their annual fundraiser and I was so excited when the C family contacted me that they had bid on my item and won! We have been trying to get the shoot in for weeks and the weather just was not cooperating, finally on the third try the skies stayed clear. We decided to have the session at Kenmore Park in the downtown neighborhood of Fredericksburg. The C family likes to hang out there and I love doing sessions in places that have meaning to my clients. The kids looked great, their Mom did a fabulous job of dressing them for the shoot. She had some really sweet ideas for capturing things I’m sure the kids will want to remember down the road. They were looking for some black and white portraits which I love to do, there is always something so timeless about black and white. So here is a quick sneak peek of the C kids! Don’t worry Mom the gallery will be up soon with the rest of the great photos!
I love to see comments on the blog so comment away and if we get to 20 they will earn a complimentary 8×10 fine art print! Show them some luv!

I love the pictures of the Cohen children! I cannot wait to see more. You have really captured their personalities. Adorable! Especially younger boys laughing and looking up to older siblings! Love it! Nancy
I really loved how great the C kids got along! I’m not sure my mom could have gotten my sister and I to pose for photographs together at this age
Definitely a great looking family! 5 more comments to go so tell all your friends to come check out the photos and leave some luv!!!
beautiful like their mother. love the black and white.
I LOVE this picture. Really captures their personalities. Great shot!
This photo does what every eye behind the camera is reaching for when taking a picture – it is capturing a glimpse of who these children are. The amazing thing about this photo is that I feel like I am enjoying the moment with them – I can hear their laughter (especially Sterns!) and it seems as though either the photographer has given them something to ponder or Warner has just said something incredibly funny – Bay is trying to decide if she thinks it’s funny or not and Barron is wondering why Warner looks the way he looks… I love it!
I like that you were able to choose a “non-traditional” off site location.
most beautiful kids in the world love, MUM MUM
These are so good – I can’t wait to see the rest!
