I still remember working up the nerve to walk through her door and introduce myself, I practiced in the car trying to sound confident when I really had no idea what I was doing. All I knew was that she was a florist and I was looking for wedding vendors to partner up with. Little did I know that not only would she become a great friend in the wedding industry but also one of my brides! Amanda from Anthomanic Florals and I have collaborated on tons of projects together, worked on many weddings together and even for awhile lived within walking distance of each other. So when she contacted me about wanting photos to make a special announcement I was over the moon! It was such an honor to document her wedding to Robbie down at Disney and to be asked to continue documenting their life together with the announcement of a new baby almost had me in tears, no lie! I told her I would hold this baby in for a couple more days so we could squeeze in a quick session before the holidays and before I went into labor.
Amanda and Robbie love Disney as evidenced by their wedding there! They found out on their 2nd anniversary trip there this year that they were expecting, it must be the Disney magic! Amanda told me they had baby ears made to use in their announcement photo which were adorable. With the weather calling for downpours all day long I knew we were probably going to have to do the session indoors and I wanted to come up with a cute way to announce that incorporated their love of Disney. Amanda mentioned that she had a bunch of Disney baby books and bam an idea started to take shape. So check out some adorable announcement photos from the best florist I know!
