Night at the Races

My husband races a 4cyl Mustang at the Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, SC. We live in Virginia, northern Virginia at that. So about every other weekend or so we drive the 5.5 hours to the border of NC and SC so he can race. He loves it, it is his passion. I always take my camera with me when we go and I take pictures of him practicing on the track. The good thing for him is that he can look at the pictures I take and it tells him stuff about the car and what adjustments he needs to make. So I get to feel important and like a contributing member of his pit crewThese are some pics of just the goings on at the track and of course my husband and his race car! I used natural light for all of them, mainly because I left my flash on the other side of the track up in the truck. But I ended up really liking the quality of light in the photos so it all worked out! Oh and he finished in second place!

: I always thought you drove a race car not pushed it ;) A wire shorted out after the race and caused some smoke so they didn’t start it to be on the safe side.



			
				
			
				
				The previous two races he wrecked his car and this was the damage from the last one.  I wasn’t there the last two races so I tease him that I’m his lucky charm!
