So I rented the Canon 50L 1.2 for the holiday and of course I’ve been taking lots of pictures with it! As I sit here on my couch nursing a cold and watching The Hangover I figured now was a good time to upload stuff and check it out. With that I thought I’d post the pictures I took of our holiday decorations.

- My adorable girls watching everyone open their presents. I love how Sadie gets so close to her big sister Maxie! She gets a little scared around lots of people and likes to hide behind her sister.

- My decorated dining room, for those of you that also read Young House Love’s blog yes I did rip off their dining room. I’m a photographer not an interior decorator and I love their style!!! I can help you decorate with photos just not furniture :)

- Appropriate for my father in law who bought a sailboat this year, can’t wait to go test it out!

- Last but hopefully not least here is a lovely shot of me taken by my husband. In my defense I had curled my hair but we got caught in a rain shower and there went my curls. He says I look pissed off, I think I look tired. Two frames later and I was sleeping.
So far I’m loving the 50L but I do plan to do some test shots and compare to my 50 1.4.
