Looking for more photos of a Marine Corp Museum Wedding?
Being a Marine wife I have a special place in my heart for military couples and photographing weddings at the Marine Corp Museum! I have been photographing Virginia Weddings at the Semper Fidelis Chapel for several years now. The gorgeous windows with the etching of the soldier on bended knee take my breath away every time I walk in. The words like Integrity, Faith, Commitment, Compassion and Honor grace the walls and I believe they stand for more then just Corp values they stand for marriage values too.
Hosting your reception in The Leatherneck Gallery of the Museum itself will be such a treat for your guests! The planes hanging over head set an impressive stage for you to have your first dance and celebrate with friends and family. Plus there are ample locations on the grounds for gorgeous wedding portraits!
I have picked out a few wedding galleries from over the last 4 years to show you ceremonies and receptions that have taken place at The Museum of the Marine Corp and the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel.
A Virginia girl fell in love with a Texas boy and her life was forever altered. I’m so excited for Samantha & Caleb, they are embarking on this new adventure together as husband and wife. Soon they will be traveling the world as Caleb continues his Marine Corp career. They chose the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel as the spot to say I Do and followed it up with a reception at Stevenson Ridge.
Mike and Margo both love the USA and consider themselves extremely patriotic. They wanted to make sure that their wedding expressed the love and pride they have for our country. The colors, the favors, and the wedding details all revolved around the United States and the Marine Corps! Mike and Margo hosted their wedding ceremony at the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel and continued the celebration with a reception in The Leatherneck Gallery of the Museum.
Megan always wanted a very small and intimate wedding but was told throughout the years that she wouldn’t be able to do it because she would offend relatives and whatnot. In the end, both she and John got exactly the wedding they wanted, small and intimate, very romantic, and focused on love. It was perfect! I was truly honored to be asked to capture Megan and John’s wedding. In total there were about 10 guests and I was there to document this amazing event that was so private and perfect.
Melissa & Adam Semper Fidelis Chapel Wedding
Melissa & Adam hosted their beautiful wedding ceremony at the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel at the National Museum of the Marine Corp with a reception following at The Bavarian Chef which is owned by their longtime family friends. Melissa’s dad put together a slideshow of photos from her child hood and Adam’s and narrated along with the images. It was such a special surprise for her and there was a lot of laughter!
Photos coming soon!
Heather wanted her wedding to be small and intimate. It was very laid back and she did not stress at all about the details. She wanted to remember and enjoy the day. Heather & Steve hosted a very intimate wedding for close friends and family at the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel with their reception on The Observation Deck overlooking The Leatherneck Gallery. Heather went with a red, white and blue theme for her colors keeping with their military pride!
