Looking for more photos of an Inn at Willow Grove Wedding?
Perfect you are in the right place! I’ve been photographing Virginia weddings at the Inn for 4 years now and I have seen almost every kind of Inn at Willow Grove wedding you can imagine there. Everything from casual elopements and small intimate affairs in The Hall to rainy wedding days with ceremonies taking place under the tent in The Ruins to perfect sunny days with gorgeous weather and beautiful vows being exchanged in The Boxwood Gardens. Plus all the receptions and parties in The Barn and at The Ruins! Having an Inn at Willow Grove Wedding will not disappoint you or your guests!
I have hand picked several wedding galleries featuring different types of weddings at the Inn. You can take a look through and get an idea of what the grounds look like throughout the seasons. Also while no bride wants to hear the dreaded “R” word when it comes to her wedding day the Inn has a beautiful back up ceremony space just in case it does rain. As a photographer I have no issues photographing ceremonies under the tent because the light is always beautiful! So try not to stress too much about the “R” word and check out a few weddings where it did indeed rain and pour in some cases and see just how beautiful your wedding can be.
The Inn features several options for getting ready before the big day, as you look through the weddings below you can see the different spaces to help make the choice easy for your wedding day! My favorite is for the girls to get ready in the main house so we can take advantage of the upper porch on the front of the Inn for perfect light rain or shine! Plus the giant mirror in the hallway makes for the perfect spot to finish putting on your dress with beautiful light spilling in and the reflection of your face as your bridal party fluffs your dress.

Despite car accidents and rain Aly & Brian had a beautiful summer wedding day at the Inn! From the moment they pulled in their were floored by the venue and the staff. Aly said they started calling it Wedding Camp and it does remind you of the camaraderie of camp but with much more awesome amenities then any camp I ever attended! The Inn is breaking ground now on a spa facility and I can’t wait to book my own weekend there! I’m sure Aly & Brian will be back for many anniversaries at the Inn!
They could not have picked a better location than The Inn at Willow Grove for their Southern wedding. The historic yellow plantation house is a stunning backdrop for photos. Ashley choose a beautiful palette of gray and mint green for her colors and the drapey bridesmaids dresses were perfect. Ashley and Ryan decided to do a First Look so we could spend more time getting portraits of the two of them before the ceremony. The willow trees were the perfect homage to the Inn and provided a beautiful location for portraits. I loved walking the grounds and finding new locations for portraits! Even though I’ve been shooting at the Inn for the last 5 years I still find new spots to take advantage of.
They wanted a simple, natural, elegant, timeless wedding and were inspired by the class of The Inn mixed with the rustic country feel of Orange, Va. Cate & Adam hosted their wedding in May and were blessed with gorgeous weather for their ceremony in The Boxwood Gardens. Cate carried one of the most beautiful bouquets I’ve ever seen full of fluffy peonies in coral and orange!
Their excitement at becoming husband and wife was bursting out of them as they said their vows in The Boxwood Gardens. Alyssa & E.W. picked a beautiful September day full of glowy sunlight for their wedding. It was truly like the heavens had opened and beamed down happiness and joy that day. Their reception featured my first flash mob courtesy of the MOH!
They were really inspired by the venue which was on old southern plantation and really liked all of the vintage pieces about their wedding. Kacey & Chris prove that even if it POURS on your wedding day everything still turns out beautifully! The tented Ruins was the perfect backup for their ceremony and kept the guests dry while they said I Do. We even made it up to the overlook between rain showers for a few slightly wet portraits!
It was a perfect June day for this Inn at Willow Grove wedding! With guests seated in The Boxwood Gardens for the ceremony Jena was escorted down the aisle by her dad to Matt waiting for her at the end. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour under the tent at The Ruins followed by a formal sit down dinner in The Barn. They finished the party out back under the tent in The Ruins dancing the night away.
The Hall at the Inn at Willow Grove is perfect for more casual intimate affairs. Kelly and Lafayette choose a Sunday in August to gather a small group of friends and family to celebrate their wedding. Cocktail hour was hosted on the slate patio behind the Inn where guests mingled and congratulated the new husband and wife. We took a quick trip to the Overlook for a few more gorgeous bride and groom portraits!
She loved the idea of having a southern wedding, full of pretty pastels and DIY accents. Gina and Ronnie were married on a rainy day in May haha just kidding it was actually a rainy August day. Since it rained all day for their wedding we did portraits on the porches of the Inn and they turned out beautifully! The rain didn’t stop them from having a beautiful ceremony under the tent in The Ruins and at the end of the night we even took a cool night shot of them in the rain!
Taking inspiration from her Irish heritage Kate and Robert planned a formal tails and top hats May wedding. Kate loves butterflies and included them as decor elements throughout the wedding. They even had a butterfly release as they walked back up the aisle in The Boxwood Gardens! The beautiful color palette of purple and green added to the elegant feel of the wedding.
With a wedding team behind them Erin and Dylan had a gorgeous fall harvest themed wedding at the Inn. I have never seen The Barn so beautifully decorated for a wedding with over the top floral arrangements that were the perfect accent for the tall ceilings. The golden harvest colors had everyone forgetting the cold rain outside on that September day. It had been raining for days before their wedding so Erin and Dylan were prepared to exchange their vows under the tent and dressed it up with a bountiful fall harvest.
