Q: Do you have a studio where the pictures are taken?
A. I do not have a set studio. I do everything on location, this can be at a local park, a downtown area or your own backyard. I love wandering around exploring new areas and finding interesting textures and backgrounds to complement your photos. I do have a portable studio setup that I take to client homes to do more formal portraits.
Q. What time do you usually book sessions?
A. I usually shoot in the evenings and on weekends. Evenings are good for lighting because the sunlight is less harsh than during the middle of the day.
Q. What should I wear?
A. There is no set uniform you have to wear, if you want to match then by all means go for it! Otherwise I would suggest something you will be comfortable in and a color that works well with your skin tone. I personally look great in green so for my engagement pictures I wore a green sweater and it really popped in the pictures!
Q. What should my child wear?
A. Again there are no set rules, you can bring several outfits for your children if you like. I love little girls in beautiful puffy dresses. If he has an Elmo shirt that he can’t live without then by all means bring it and one day when you look back on the photos you will remember that Elmo shirt he loved so much.
Q. When do I get to see my pictures?
A. You can expect to see your pictures in the proofing area of my website within 1-2 weeks. Once you review your proofs and choose what photos you like I will fully edit those. You will get an email when your photographs have been edited and are ready for ordering. I like to post previews of my favorites on my blog so make sure to sign up so you get an email when I post a new entry!
