Oh my goodness I cannot believe I have not blogged this engagement session!!!! I posted images to Facebook, I sent my beautiful clients their gallery of images and I totally spaced on blogging. They are about to get married this month so better late than never!
David and I flew up to New York right before Christmas and since we were already there I contacted Kelly and PJ to see if they wanted to squeeze in their engagement session. They loved the idea and Kelly took charge and planned everything out for us. I can now say I’ve stood on the steps made famous by Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City!!! Yep we started the session right there at the house that was used as her apartment. From there Kelly mapped out some streets for us to wander around including a stop at the cafe where they had their first date! Oh and let me tell you something, no one can hail a cab like a New Yorker. Kelly and PJ are pros, especially since we needed a cab big enough to include David and Will. It was kind of a family affair engagement session ;). Thank you Kelly and PJ for being such good sports as Will screamed the entire cab ride over to Grand Central.
We finished the session at Grand Central Station which was super cool to see in person. I can definitely understand where the term “It’s like Grand Central Station around here” comes from :). It’s massive with tons of people, heck while we were there someone proposed. We didn’t see it but we could hear the cheers :). Anyway I’m super excited for their wedding in just a couple weeks here in Fredericksburg, they were so much fun to work with and just sweet as can be. I love having clients like them because the wedding day becomes so special, I get to document two friends getting married and I’m thrilled!
Again I’m so sorry I’m so late on blogging this, at some point I’ll have to stop using the new baby excuse ;)!
