Engaged: Jill & Paul Fairfax Virginia Engagement Photographer

Client meetings always make me nervous, I’m not a great salesperson and I tend to talk to much and too fast.  Meeting Jill and Paul though was a breeze!  They love the outdoors and like to do a lot of the same things David and I do.  Oh and they have a boat!  As soon as I heard that I was already plotting an engagement session on their boat.  Luckily they loved the idea too!  They suggested Pohick Bay Park for their engagement session and it was so beautiful there.  The weather was great, not too hot and the light was amazing!  The light bouncing off the water made it easy to shoot almost anywhere and I love the sun kissed glow it gave when we were on the boat!  Jill and Paul love to fish so they busted out the fishing gear for some fun quirky shots to really show how they spend their time together.  We chatted about surf fishing at the beach and my aversion to baiting the hook! (I always make my Dad do it)

Jill and Paul are gorgeous and so comfortable with each other, I swear you can’t take a bad photo of these two which makes my job a breeze!  The hardest part of this session was narrowing down the photos to really show the best.  I think I went a little overboard though :).  I foresee some new sample gallery wraps featuring these guys going up in my office!

I know their wedding next spring at Osprey’s Landing will be beautiful and I can’t wait!!  I had so much fun at their session and I hope they love the photos as much as I do!!
