You all know I have a special place in my heart for military couples and I was thrilled to find out that Diane and Andy both serve in the US Navy! Oh and they are both pilots! Seriously how cool is that!!! I snooped on Diane’s Facebook profile and saw an awesome pic of her in uniform looking very Top Gun, I was impressed. I’m not gonna lie I feel totally uncool next to her I mean c’mon she flies planes and helicopters! Diane and Andy drove up from Newport News for their engagement session and brought their adorable puppy Zoey. Yes they are dog lovers too! We lucked out with pretty great weather, a bit chilly in the shade but fabulous in the sun!
We started out wandering around Downtown Fredericksburg for some cute urban photos before we headed for my new favorite field! Diane and Andy are the best models they barely needed any direction from me. There were times I completely forgot to tell them what to do because they were so cute. I love when couples are so comfortable with each other and so obviously in love! It makes me happy
! Add in beautiful glowy light at sunset and I was in heaven. Zoey had the best time out of all of us I think, she frolicked in the field to her hearts content. At times she was bunny hopping around and it was adorable!
Diane and Andy are planning a fall wedding for next year and I know it will be amazing simply because of the love they have for each other. I’m so excited for them to become husband and wife! Enjoy the photos and I hope it makes your heart happy to see a couple so much in love!

The first time Diane jumped up into Andy’s arms I have to say I was a little envious, I mean look at how cute they are!!! She is so tiny and he is so tall, it’s completely adorable! Check out those killer boots too!
