Gift Certificates & Wedding Registries Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer

Yes I offer gift certificates and wedding registries!  These are very popular for weddings nowadays.  I have a lot of couples that can’t fit a wedding album in the budget and they go home with their disk thinking that someday they will get their album done.  Guess what, most of them don’t :(  Instead they haul out their laptop and dig through their files and play a generic slideshow of their wedding day images.  Not special at all!!  The typical couple getting married now has already setup their home together and are stumped on what to register for because they don’t really need a new toaster when theirs isn’t very old.  A photography registry is perfect for them because what they don’t have for their home is beautiful photos of the two of them or an album of their wedding.  As a guest of theirs you get to know that you are getting them something they will remember forever!!  I’ve had family purchase specific things for couples like a gallery wrap canvas of the clients favorite photo or an easier suggestion is a gift certificate that they can put towards whatever they would like.  Just like most couples don’t expect one guest to purchase an entire dinner service set for them same goes with a wedding album.  By giving a gift card you can help them towards the goal of a complete wedding album.  Even if a couple has budgeted for a basic album the registry enables them to upgrade to something larger, with nicer cover options and more pages.  Years down the road when they are showing off their album they will remember that you were a part of them being able to have that!

As I talked about yesterday I love pretty packaging and I think it is especially important for gift certificates and cards, you need to dress up that piece of paper!  So instead of just sending the couple an email with the gift information I like to print up a beautifully designed card that will soon be able to include a personal message from you.  That card is then placed into a pretty petal style envelope and sealed with a sticker.  I’m not done yet though, the envelope is then wrapped in a beautiful box and tied off with ribbon.  All you have to do is grab one of those pretty wedding gift bags and some tissue paper and you are all set!  I promise the couple will be so excited to open your beautiful present and even more thrilled to know that you want to help them with their first family heirloom!  Buy your gift certificate here!
