I got back from Phoenix this week only to find the temperature at home was 28 degrees! I was not ready for that when I stepped off the plane. I learned so much this week at the Imaging USA expo, I was able to meet a ton of other photographers and trade tips and advice. I was able to get some personalized advice for my business from Sarah Petty which totally rocked.
Since I got home I’ve been working on restructuring my pricing to make it more simple and streamlined. I”m also working on some new partnership oppurtunities with local businesses. I have a notebook pack jammed with tidbits and tricks I picked up and I can’t wait to put them in motion. The expo portion was great because I was able to touch and feel all the different albums and framing choices that are out there. I’ve decided to add some neat items to my offering like jewelry and Gina Alexander bags that I can print with photos from your session. I found the cutest frames from Wild Sorbet which are great for childrens rooms because they aren’t your standard black or brown frame they come in crazy colors like lime with polka dots.
In the coming weeks I should have a ton of new information on my blogsite, I’m working on consolidating my website and blogsite into one. My blog site will have all my information about sessions and your investment and my latest photographs. My website will become more of a portfolio site where you can get a better feel for my style of photography. So keep checking back and as I make changes to my business I will post updates here. I’m working on storybook offer where I create a book about your child!
