The session is where the magic happens, this is where we go out and have a lot of fun and you get to feel like a celebrity with your own paparazzi!! lol! I shoot on location for everything I do, this can be at your home, a local park, a downtown area or you can even fly me to Hawaii to photograph you on the beach
All sessions are done during daylight hours as I try not to work with lighting equipment. I have a trunk full of it if necessary but I find that I love the simplicity of me, my camera and natural light.
Seriously though my sessions are very relaxed and laid back, nothing fussy or stuffy. For sessions not involving small energetic children I will start you off with some loose poses and then help you to relax so you can be yourself and that is when the moments start to happen! I am a lifestyle photojournalist so I want to capture your life happening not stiff formal poses where you chin has to be just so. I will be giving you some basic posing directions so you know what to be be doing and then I will work to make you forget that you are posing and instead you are just having fun. The number one thing I love to capture is laughter!!!
